Neil Young trumps Trump
Neil Young has sent Donald Trump the ultimate F.U. by taking 'Rockin' In The Free World', the song Trump infringed copyright over, and handing to Trump political competitor Bernie Sanders.
Last week Trump amazed Young and the music industry by using the Young song in a campaign without prior clearance. It was a blatant copyright breach that one must assume Trump would understand.
Young was ropable and made his annoyance clear posting his position over Trump's musical theft for everyone to see. (Trump's office claims that it sought permission for the use of the song via clearance houses ASCAP and BMI).
Young then threw is support behind Democrat candidate Bernie Sanders saying in a statement, 'Neil Young, a Canadian citizen, is a supporter of Bernie Sanders for President of the United States of America.'
Bernie Sanders is now the only presidential candidate allowed to use the Neil Young song as part of his campaign. Sanders chose his rally in Vermont to debut his new campaign theme.
